free hexes

Hey - I have a few wired hexes I don't use - if anyone wants them let me know. They're in fine shape. Pick them up in St. Andrews if you want them.

I too have a few hexes I don't use. Goes back to our previous discussion about cams vs hexes. How offten do you see someone on a forum saying "hey all... I have some cams to give away" ?
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

Yep - but the price is right... I used them simply as passive stoppers - and they work ok for that. Anyway - I have two #2 and one #3... if no one takes them I'll have to give them to Fred and Cara for their wedding present... ; )

You can’t place a Cam by throwing it at a crack, but with a hex, a narrowing crack, and a good aim, you can make a placement five or six feet above your current position to avoid a runout if there is no decent protection where you are at. Just attach it to the end of a long sling so you have something to clip. I have done it.
