Gear Shops in Nova Scotia

Postby rsh » Mon Jun 13, 2011 7:22 pm

Are there any shops in the Valley or Halifax that carry bouldering gear OTHER than Mountain Equipment Co-Op (they don't have any of the pads I want...)?

I am looking to get a new a pad, and with the the postal strike rolling along getting one shipped is looking like a long process.

Thanks.

I find it odd that most if not all Canadian gyms don't have a pro-shop with at least a few essentials. Back in the homeland one of the best shops around was at the gym.

Taxes? MEC? Only B-Day parties climb at gyms? Mr.Thruster, do you know?

I just had a MEC order delivered a week or so ago... once the strike possibility was announced they started shipping with Purolator instead of Canada Post. Delivery time was about the same as usual.
