You know what they say. Bouldering is the most extreme type of climbing, since every fall is a ground fall.

I'm definatly a sissy, I was watching this and thinking that I would of placed at least 3 or 4 screws on an ice climb of that height. :P

I laughed almost as hard as when i watch Extreme Elimination Challenge

what is it about people getting hurt on camera that is so funny?
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

The funny thing is that people always get hurt when they are filming themselves.

I know what that feels like! I took a 3 meter fall off a small rock ridge this weekend while out hiking. I think that I even bounced on the ground just like the guy in the video.

Figure I was lucky considering the only injury I'm suffering from is a torn calf muscle.

Yeah, the lack of sensitivity and flexibility in his left leg may have contributed to the fall. Still, that is an impressive prosthetic. I wonder how it could be improved to make it better for climbing? Maybe if an actuator was put in the knee joint with a remote control the climber could hold in his mouth and manipulate with his tung. That would allow him to bend it when necessary for those awkward scrunches.

I knew a guy who used to climb at Rock Works who had a prosthetic arm. He had to take it off to climb, because he had already broken it once climbing and they are expensive. Normal prosthetics aren’t really made for that sort of abuse, so I was impressed that the climber shown here seemed to have a more sturdy prosthetic.
