Injury at clifton maine

A guy was hurt in clifton maine recently, compound fracture to his ankle I believe, leaned on a piece of gear and it pulled and he hit a ledge. More info @

was he wearing a helmet? :wink:
I want to go to hell... there's probably lots of rock to climb there.

Yup he was wearin one, I guess he went to rest on a tri cam and it pulled and sent him for a 20 footer.
The military was there that day training and they even had a litter for some of their stuff, so he lucked out in the way that they were able to get him out of there in half the time of a normal rescue would have taken.

That sounds really lucky. I know it takes us to get going when we get a call out for something like that.
