Metolius sale at mec?

Postby thicks » Tue Oct 18, 2005 4:11 pm

Metolius Anodized Curve Nut Set and all Metolius Nuts are on sale for almost half price(set of 1to10 for 58bucks), but they are not listed in the mec clearance section. Metolius Range Finder Power Cam seem to be almost half price as well(Sizes 2,3,4,6 for 34bucks each). God bless visa.

How useful is the little white metolious Cam? Is there a better cam in the same size?

I wouldn't trust anything smaller than blue (good) or purple (iffy) to catch a fall.

The purple caught a fall for me no prob. :) it needs to be a bomber placement of course. BUt otherwise I love that cam.

Purple, blue, yellow, orange are great sizes for small cams. Welsford eats those sizes up. Once you get bigger than that you can jump to the BD camalots in .5 and .75. :)

I assume it is just a overstock type of sale so who knows how long it will last. You could buy the stuff and have mec hold it for pickup though. That is one of their delivery methods.... or un-delivery methods.

I suspect Metolius may be coming out with something new. The cams never go on sale unless they are clearing them for new products. They were also on sale (1/2 price) at the EMS store in the Gunks.

blue and yellow 3CU metolius are the weapons of choice for Welsford

As Fred said Blue and Yellow and amazing (I hve two yellows, thinking of getting a second blue). But I wouldn't discount the purple and grey. There have been times that that purple is the only thing I could place and I was damn happy that I had it! The grey?......I don't usually carry it but my bf use's pretty often.

They are weaker, but I would pick up down the the purple at least.

Damn, its a good thing I wasn't home yesterday when this was posted cause my sugar daddy (Mr. Visa to you) would of been burdened with these purchases. The funny thing is I don't even need cams, I always find myself leaving some at home (remember those ones I traded with you cara...).

PS the weather is nice on this part of the country
